Work is work, we get it. It's not always fun. It can be stressful, busy, and feel like the it's never ending. Especially in this day and age, people are overworked and underpaid. Sometimes it can be a lot of pressure, so us CEOs and board-members created a list of tips and tricks to help relieve that stress and keep you from quiet quitting (while still being productive)!
Tip #1: Close your laptop at lunch. We are mandated to give employees an hour lunch break everyday so during this mandatory break, close your laptop and decompress from work. Focus on your lunch and talk to some of your coworkers. Don't shut off Outlook from your phone's email though, those should always be on and running. Closing your laptop for your lunch hour is a plenty enough disconnect from work.
Tip #2: Get a sun lamp. When you are up at night finishing a project and sending emails to clients, having a sun lamp will trick your brain into thinking it is your normal work hours and that you are not tired from many sleepless nights spent working. This tip is a bonus because the more you do it, the more you truly trick your brain into thinking you are supposed to be working at night, allowing you maximum productivity.
Tip #3: It is always okay to ask for help. When needing to increase your productivity due to more work assignments, there are many things that can help with this, and we don't mean asking us higher-ups for help. We mean something that can help... enhance your performance. We cannot formally endorse or encourage certain actions, but there is a positive correlation between productivity and performance enhancing dugs. Uppers, speed, a lil' booger sugar...whatever it is, we don't judge (as long as your work gets done, that is)!
